Who we are

We are a small but passionate community of individuals who see the growing problem of cat homelessness in our area and are committed to making a difference. Our mission is to address this issue through the proven method of Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) and by building a strong network of volunteers who share our vision.

Our approach is simple yet effective. TNR not only helps to control the population of community cats but also improves their quality of life by preventing the birth of more homeless kittens. Through TNR, we aim to humanely manage the community cat population while fostering a sense of compassion and responsibility within our parish.

To make this vision a reality, we rely on the generosity and dedication of our community. We are actively seeking volunteers who are willing to help with trapping, transporting, and caring for cats during the TNR process. Additionally, we are focused on raising funds to support the veterinarians who perform spay and neuter surgeries and the local shelter that assists in caring for these cats.

Through our lead agency Snip & Tip, every dollar raised and every volunteer hour given brings us closer to a parish where all cats are cared for and no longer face the hardships of homelessness. Together, we can make a significant impact on the lives of these animals and our community as a whole.

why tnr?

TNR is a non-lethal strategy for reducing the number of community cats and improving the quality of life for cats, wildlife and people. It is the fundamental component of community cat programs, which are being established by more and more animal rescue groups to combat the overwhelming number of unwanted pets they take in.
